…more than five workers in any one shift at a place of employment shall…ensure that the first aid station is at all times in the charge of a worker who is the holder of a valid Standard First Aid certificate.
In other words…
<5 per shift = Basic First Aid Certificate

To receive your final designation you must complete both the online course and the final practical component. After finishing the online theory, a compulsory practical session must be scheduled to complete this course. The practical session will consist of demonstrating CPR and AED on manikins, bandaging and Emergency Scene management for all of the topics covered in the theory portion.
The time to complete the course depends on the skill level of each individual. Some may take longer to go through the theory and ask more questions at the practical. The goal is to have you leave the course with a level of confidence that you would use your knowledge in real life.
